Slow Stitching

My schedule takes me out of the house a great deal these days. I haven’t had much time in front of my sewing machine, and I’m missing it a little. However, I have had opportunity for some hand projects.

This is the Hettie Hexie Mini that I mentioned a few posts back. The pattern is for sale on Etsy, and I just fell in love with it! On my trip home from England, I pieced the small hexies, and have slowly been working on the rest. I’m honestly enjoying the slow paced progress, and the very pinkness of it all! Next up on my docket is the Hearts of Friendship Mini Quilt, which is a free download from Craftsy! It’s also hand quilted and hand appliqued. Hooray for car projects! =}

    • Yes ma’am! The hearts are cut and ready to be sewn. I did have a little trouble with the Liberty, but only because it requires a very sharp sewing machine needle! Truth be told, the needle was due for changing, so I’m not surprised!
