We’re deep in the process of ensuring a smooth homeschool year! Therefore, my sewing room has been a little neglected lately. I have made time to do a few little projects, just for fun!
I added to our cloth napkin stash! We use these almost constantly for coasters or place mats, napkins and handkerchiefs. You’ll find one under each of our coffee cups, sometimes hot plates of food, or under a cold glass with condensation dripping. Cloth napkins are a pretty useful sewing project! I love that mine are all a little different and unique! (Also, meet Blossom Van Yum Yum, my tuxedo kitty.)
It’s almost fall, so I couldn’t resist the urge to make a little aqua pumpkin! This short afternoon project is fun and satisfying. The only time consuming part of the project is the hand sewing; the pumpkin is sewn together, turned right side out, then stuffed with fluff, and hand sewn shut. Add twine and a button or two, and it’s done!
